Keeping 1,001 Volunteers Hydrated for an Incredible Cause
We were proud to contribute to the recent DIY SOS: The Big Build in Tallaght, Co. Dublin — a truly inspiring community project that brought together over 1,000 volunteers to create a specially adapted home for young Cayden O’Connor.
Cayden, a nine-year-old living with Arthrogryposis and scoliosis, needed a home renovation to improve accessibility and quality of life for him and his family. The DIY SOS team, alongside countless tradespeople, volunteers, and suppliers, rallied to make this dream a reality.
Our contribution involved supplying and installing bottled water coolers and large drums of water across the build site, helping to keep the 1,001 volunteers hydrated throughout the intense workdays. This helped reduce plastic waste on site while keeping everyone hydrated and refreshed throughout the build.
Our team was honoured to attend the reveal day, an experience that was both rewarding and inspiring. The full story will be shown later this year on RTÉ ONE.
We’re proud to have contributed to such a meaningful project and look forward to supporting future builds by keeping all the hardworking volunteers hydrated.
